Hangin' with Bumpa

Happy Thanksgiving!

Benjamin loved playing the piano at the Gott's on Thanksgiving Day. Check out the finger positioning, the next Beethoven?
However, singing may be another option.

17 Months and it still fits

It is somewhat difficult to see, but I put Benjamin in this onesie every month of the first year of his life. Most children out grow their 12 month clothes before one year, but Benjamin can still wear his with pride as seen here in the bottom picture.

Going to Work

Benjamin's newest adventure is to put on one of Dad's ties everyday we get home from daycare and pretend to go to work. He wears it all night and doesn't like to take it off for bed. In the above pictures I put a sport coat on him and he was very upset when I tried to take it off of him. He is totally cracking us up lately.

Happy Halloween!

Our little giraffe!
Ben's friend Lydia came over to help hand out candy.

A day at the Zoo

We went to the zoo in Cincinnati and Ben was excited for about the first three animals and then all he wanted to do was run and climb on the benches.

Lounging Around

It's a little hard to see, but Ben was just sitting with his legs crossed drinking his juice box taking in the moment. I thought this was hysterical.

Popcorn Panic and Parade 2009

Watching the parade.
Scoped out a good seat to wait for mom to pass by and later to watch the parade.
Waiting for mom to start the race. Look at all the runners!
Mom ran the 5 mile Popcorn Panic race this year. Here we are before the start of the race.

Proud Benjamin

Benjamin loves to climb up his slide and go down. He is very proud of his ability to do this as one can see in his clapping after going down. This happens every time he goes down the slide.

Beach Babe

Ben would act as if he was going to test the water, but then turn around at the last second. He did this often and never actually tested the water. The water temp was in the 50's so he was probably smart not to test it.
